Because our translation work involves scholarly articles, translators should have an excellent command of written English and the source language, strong attention to accuracy and terminology, and experience with academic, scientific, or professional texts.

Subject-matter knowledge in fields such as education, psychology, linguistics, social sciences, humanities, and other academic disciplines is particularly valuable.

The work

Typical responsibilities may include translating scholarly manuscripts into clear academic English, preserving the meaning and terminology of the original research, checking references and specialized terminology, and responding to editorial queries during the review and publication process.
